We are happy to announce a strategic partnership and investment round with Media Tailor, a leading media tech company. The strategic partnership goes beyond investment, combining our strengths to deliver modern HTML graphics solutions to a broader audience in the broadcast industry and beyond.
What started as an open-source project developed by Tuomo Kulomaa, the founder of SPX Graphics , has since grown into a trusted graphics controller used by broadcasters and professionals around the world. This new partnership with Media Tailor marks another milestone in our journey towards becoming the leader in the HTML Graphics market.
This investment demonstrates the growing maturity of HTML-based graphics and highlights the technology’s readiness to scale across the industry, enabling more open, lightweight, and flexible on-air graphics workflows that were previously reserved for proprietary solutions.
The cooperation includes joint marketing, sales, customer project delivery, and technical support for the product.
Media Tailor offers comprehensive end-to-end solutions in media production, management, and distribution, serving clients across the media landscape with a focus on efficiency and innovation. The company is always up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends, with HTML graphics being the apparent future when it comes to graphics technologies.

By combining SPX’s graphics controller, which has developed over time to become a robust, open, and reliable graphics controller used by professionals, and Media Tailor’s ability to provide the highest level of professional support, we are together furthering the adoption of HTML graphics for use in demanding live productions that require the highest level of support.
“HTML graphics offer a modern, agile, and cost-effective way to deliver broadcast visuals. With this partnership, we’re positioned to help the industry through this transition in the best possible way” Tuomo Kulomaa, CEO of SPX Graphics.
In addition, SPX has been working closely with the EBU (European Broadcast Union) over the past few years to help develop OGraf – the new industry standard for HTML graphics definition. Announced in the spring and officially launching at IBC2025, OGraf further cements the core strength of HTML graphics: openness.
To share all of these exciting developments, we will be sharing a booth at IBC in the fall (1.B25), where we will each showcase our vision of how HTML graphics will fit into the workflows of broadcasters and productions.
“In today’s media environment, collaboration is key. HTML graphics are more relevant than ever, and EBU’s standard proves it. We're excited to showcase what this means in practice at IBC2025” Markus Paul, COO of Media Tailor Group.
Contact us to get an early look at what we have to offer ahead of IBC2025, or book a meeting for IBC to get a demo and meet the team.
